If you are looking to further your knowledge, Eduk8 has provided us with 100 free resources to do so. The tools consist of several different sections, which I’ve listed below. I’ve also added some examples to give you an idea of the tools.
1. Open Courseware Classes “connects you to the same syllabi and assignments being given at top schools like Harvard Medical School and MIT. You won’t get any academic credit for these classes, but if you stick with it, you’ll learn a lot.”

2. Books and open text
Exampes: Project Gutenberg (free ebooks) and Authorama
3. Several customized search engines to target specific searches.
Examples: BASE (searches for academic material) and Art Cyclopedia.
4. Public Access Libraries and Research Centers
Examples: Mayo Clinic and the Library of Congress.
5. Podcasts
Example: ItunesU (Stanford Professor Lectures)
6. Social Media and Online Commodities
Example: Chowhound (favorite restaurants and recipes)
7. Learning a New Language
Example: StudySpanish.com
Other sections include reference guides, videos and reference sites.
