Getting “Diggs” for your blog entries can really help your blog get the traffic and exposure you may want. I found a great site that provides a step-by-step for you to add Digg buttons to your blogs. I’ve seen other sites, but what I liked most about this one was that it provided more button options.
For a good how to, check out The-Online-Quest: Add Digg button to Blogger or Blogspot.
I used it to add my new Digg button, which you can now find at the top left corner of each of my entries.
Update
If you are having problems or want an alternative to having each entry have the Digg Button present, another option is to manually enter the code, here and click on the link & copy and paste the html code located where it says”Example: Simple usage for a web page you want to enable to be dugg.” (I couldn’t paste the code, because it made the Digg button appear). You can just copy and paste it at the end of your posts that you want Dugg.
This will allow you to pick and choose which entries to Digg and it’s fairly simple. If you choose this method, I’d recommend bookmarking that link or saving the html code handy in a Word Doc or notepad, so you can just copy and paste when you want to Digg one of you posts.
