Yesterday, I showed you a great site to find video tutorials to help improve every aspect of your blog. Today, I wanted to cover how to add printscreens to your blog since I just learned how to recently. Here are a few quick tips…..
1. Find the site you want to use the “printscreen” function on.
2. If you want to show more or less of the site, you can select “view” and “zoom” in or out on the page.
3. Use the “printscreen” function on your keyboard to capture it.
4. Open Microsoft Word & press “Control V” or “right click & paste” to past it into Word.
5. Within Word, click on the image & the “picture toolbar” should pop up. If it doesn’t, you can right click on the image & select “Show Picture Toolbar.”
7. Within Word, select “File” and “Save As.”
8. When the “Save As” Box pops up, change the “Save As Type: to “Web Page” by clicking on the drop down arrow. You can then save it anywhere handy for you to find it and upload it.
9. Once it is saved, it will create a folder in the location you saved it.
10. Within your blogger posting, click on the “Add Image” button, browse to the folder that was created & select the file titled “image002.”
11. image002 is a jpeg image that you can simply upload into your posting.
12. Once you are done, you can delete the folder and associated files that were saved on your desktop or where you chose to have them saved.
As always, and comments are feedback are very welcome.
