After being in the military for 9 years now, today a friend told me about an amazing site. The Armed Forces Vacation Club (AFVC) is a “Space Available” program for Department of Defense affiliated personnel to rent Condos for $329 per week in just about every state in the US as well as Mexico, South America, Europe & a dozen other countries.
Click here, to search for current Space Available Condos.
“Condominium units typically include a full kitchen, stocked with everything from a refrigerator and stove to coffee pot and soap for the dishwasher. Many include washers and dryers. Most resorts provide amenities you aren’t likely to get with a hotel room.”
“Guests have access to on-site recreational facilities, swimming pools, fitness centers, game rooms, gift shops, restaurants and organized activities. Golf and skiing are available on-site at some resorts or nearby. Add area attractions and you have an exceptional vacation for far less than you would normally expect to pay.”
In addition to Space-A rentals there are:
High Demand – Weekly resort condos in high-demand locations and during peak season at discounted commercial rental rates, priced by location and unit.
Nightly Getaways – Nightly rental deals for resort condos.
Vacation Homes – Privately owned vacation homes & condominiums in popular destinations, Orlando, Myrtle Beach, Colorado, Cape Cod, the Florida Keys, etc.
Off-Duty Travelers Advantage – Independent membership based travel club that provides 24 hour service for discounted airline, rental cars, and hotel reservation services, & discounted cruise and tour packages.
Special Offers – Independent hotels, B&B’s campgrounds, car rentals, emergency roadside assistance, river cruises, etc provide discounts & savings for military personnel.
Please share this with any military folks you may know. This is an awesome deal that I bet 90% or more of us are unaware of. I really want to increase awareness and give some of our hard-working military an affordable vacation.

My brother and his family just left yesterday for Orlando, Florida where they are staying at a condo for a full week for just a few hundred bucks (it’s non-military related).
Good to know Thomas. That's a good deal.
Typically when my wife and I visit our families in Maryland, we will either stay at a hotel. Hotel stays are pretty expensive for a week, so this opens up a new avenue for us to stay somewhere nice & pay much less.
Please tell me more what should i know before travel to this place?
