Well, it seems like you have two choices: outsource the project or do it yourself.  If you want to do it yourself then you have a lot of homework to do first - but I can see that you have been already started with that.
If you want to outsource, be ready to budget around $5,000 to get the app built.  Sites like oDesk and e-lance are your best bet for a one off project - you can look at resumes and let developers bid on your project.
