FMyLife, Entertainment Through Stories

Today, I wanted to take a few moments to share one of my new favorite entertainment sites, FMyLife. If you’re easily offended, FMyLife probably isn’t for you. You can literally spend hours reading through user submitted horror stories. The format consists of individual journal-type entries that are followed by “FML.” You can either submit a new entry or participate by voting “I agree your life is fxxxed” or “You deserved that one.” The site provides functionality to search by Top FML, Flop FML, etc.

“Today I received my passport in the mail. They got my birthday wrong. Then I picked up my birth certificate that I had sent in with the application. Turns out my parents have been celebrating my birthday on the wrong day for 16 years.” FML

“Today I checked my facebook, and my wife of 5 years was listed as single. I then wrote on her wall that it is ok to announce to be married. She writes me back saying that we have to talk and to come to the kitchen. My wife divorced me over facebook. ” FML

“Today, I had a phone interview with my potential new boss. I was getting excited about the prospects of landing a great job. I had nailed every question the man asked me and right after he told me he’ll call me tomorrow if he wants me to come in I sweetly said, “Talk to you tomorrow, Love you” FML.
