MOVIES! 3 Highly Anticipated Comedies Opening Soon

The biggest and baddest movies are upon us. Being a movie fanatic, I watch countless movie trailers and keep up with upcoming movies. Though I’m a fan of various genres, I’ll take a comedy any day. It’s the only genre I can watch several times. Some comedies near and dear to me are Old School, Scary Movie, Tropical Thunder, Kung Pow, Airplane and so many more. My current record is Old School, which I’ve seen 8 times!  I wanted to take today’s post to highlight a few comedies I can’t wait for.

Hangover - From the director of one of my favorite movies of all-time, OldSchool, Todd Phillips brings us another comedy about a bachelor party gone wrong. Hangover starts June 5th and stars Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Jeffrey Tambor and a special cameo from Mike Tyson.

Land of the Lost – Will Ferrell stars as the has-been scientist Dr. Marshall, who’s been taken back in time to the dinosaur age. The movie takes a comedic approach on the original 80′s television series. Land of the Lost opens June 5th and stars Will Ferrell, Danny McBride and Anna Friel.

Year One – Jack Black and Michael Cera star in a comedy about two lazy hunters/gatherers who’ve been banished from their primitive village as we follow them on their journey. Year One opens June 19th.

Of the 3 movies above, I am dying to see Hangover! It has everything I look for in a comedy. What are your favorites? Any other upcoming comedy we should know about? I love talking movies, so feel free to tell me what you think.
