Napster Slashes Prices to $5 Per Month with 5 Free MP3s

Great news for music fans looking to utilize a great online music service. Napster announced they’re slashing their prices and offering free MP3s each month. I’ve been a Napster subscriber for the last few years. I’ve been quite happy with Napster since. The one drawback has been the price, which was around $12 per month.

Last week, I received an e-mail from Napster announcing a significant drop in it’s service. $5 a month will now give you full access to the Napster service, along with 5 free MP3s.

On the flip side, Napster’s biggest competitor iTunes, is free and an outstanding program. The choice is yours. I personally use both programs and Napster works out quite well for me, with a little help from this program.
