The last three weeks, I’ve listed the top 10 free downloaded BlackBerry Apps, per BlackBerry App World. This is an ongoing series that I’ll be publishing weekly. All Apps that I list are those that I personally download and try on my BlackBerry Storm. I keep many of the Apps, but discard those I don’t care for. The description is quoted from the BlackBerry App World description. I continually update the most current version of software, along withh the ratings, reviews and size of the App.
Let’s take a look at the current Top 10 BlackBerry Apps, as of September 5, 2009. From last week’s listing, you’ll find that Ka-Glom, XENOZU YouTube Player and Viigo for BlackBerry have dropped out of the top 10, while Slacker Radio, Facebook and Caller ID Free have made this weeks Top 10.
To download these apps, you must first install BlackBerry App World onto your BlackBerry. Visit BlackBerry App World from your PC and enter your e-mail address to have the download link e-mailed to you or visit www.blackberry.com/appworld/download from your BlackBerry Browser. Once you’ve download BlackBerry App World, you’ll have the ability to download Free or Pay Apps from their collection of 1300+ BlackBerry Apps.

So not only is Color ID Free newly listed, it jumped to Number 1, making the biggest climb of the week. Other big jumps include Facebook (not previously ranked in the top 10) and WeatherEye, which jumped 5 spots. Pandora and Poynt remain a fixture in the top 5 and on my BlackBerry. I use Facebook, but only occasionally as I’m not a big fan of the BlackBerry App. Color ID is pretty cool, but the free version only allows you to add two contacts. I no longer use Slacker Radio, as I’m a bigger fan of Pandora. Do you have any favorites that you feel should be included in the top 1o? What are your thoughts on this weeks’ top 10?
