My main reason for ordering this device is e-book capability with nice resolition. I am not replacing my laptop or desktop. Of course thats more space better options. It will however replace the heavy books i have to carry with me if i want to study!

Hi Marcy! I'm considering buying it in the near future. If I do so, I'll first sell my iPod Touch and would definitely want to buy the 3G version. I don't think it's a replacement for my laptop, since the biggest is just 64GBs. Of course, that all depends on what you use laptops to do. The inability to multitask is a big letdown for me though. It's a strong possibility that we might buy it. My husband and I have been looking at the ipod touch and possibly buying a new laptop (apple, of course — we are apple geeks). I think this device might replace the need for getting a new laptop and ipod touch. I can see using it in the car, so the kids can watch movies and play games. Most likely we will wait a few months after it's released to buy but I can see us owning one in the next year or so. It has most of the features we need and want.
