While Chitika Premium is an outstanding way to make additional revenue from your search engine traffic, I began tinkering with my AdSense Ads. My idea was to create an AdSense version of the 500 x 250 Chitika Premium Ad. Currently, the closest AdSense Ad you can use is 336 X 280. However, AdSense does give you the 250 X 250 Ads. My plan was to create two 250 x 250 Ads, side-by-side to give me the 500 X 250 Ad with AdSense.
I found an easy solution at Digital Point Forums, so I have to credit ARCHKRE. Here’s how to display two AdSense Ads side-by-side to make an AdSense 500 x 250 Mega Unit, similar to the Chitika Premium Mega Unit.
- Create 2 AdSense 250 X 250 units.
- It’s extremely helpful to add channels to your Ads. It helps you better track your AdSense performance. I titled them “250×250-blended-topfloatleft” and “250×250-blended-topfloatright”
- Here’s the code you’ll need:
- <div style=”float:left;”>adsense code 1</div>
<div style=”float:right;”>adsense code 2</script></div> - Simply replace the red text with each AdSense Code
Since you’re technically working with two Ads, you can combine two completely different sized Ads, make one text only and the other image only, etc. Here’s how mine looks.

I just implemented this method, so haven’t been able to determine the results yet. Have you tried to combine two AdSense Ads? Do you use Chitika? Let me know what you think.
