The Easter Bunny is coming early this year. On Saturday, 3 April, there’s going to be quite a few future iPad owners with a smile on their face. For those that pre-ordered the first batch, Saturday is the day. While some have written the iPad off as a big iPod Touch, I see the iPad bringing more to the table. Besides, what’s wrong with a big iPod Touch anyways?
Through the guided tours, we’ve seen demonstrations of Safari, Mail, iBooks, Photos, Pages, Keynotes and more.
We also know that over 150,000 iTunes Applications will be compatible with the iPad. What about native apps?

Articles for iPad – Articles lets you read and discover Wikipedia articles on the iPhone, iPod Touch and now the iPad.

Air Hockey XL – This iPad app brings air hockey to the iPad. You can play against the computer or head to head with a friend.

Layers for iPad - Layers is a natural media painting application that allows you to add photos, paint, smudge and erase.

Twitterrific for iPad – Twitterrific is a sharp looking Twitter application that’s popular on the iPhone, but being rebuilt for the iPad.

Boardbox for iPad - This intriguing app offers 15 board games, which include Chess, Checkers, Tic-Tac-Toe, Go, Xiangqi, Westernized Xiangqi and many more. You can choose between mahogany, granite or an old school board.

Pianist Pro for iPad – This app turns your iPad into your very own keyboard.
