Free Android Apps – Fun With Soundboards

Do you have a favorite movie, television show, character or quote you’d like to grab a ringtone for? A great way to relive the funny and  memorable soundbytes is via the free Android Soundboard Apps. If you visit the Android Market and search for “Soundboard,” you’ll get hundreds to choose from. Soundboards are fun to get a laugh and useful to use as a new ringtone or notification sound. There’s a soundboard for just about anything and everything from Bruce Lee to Ice Cube. Below, I wanted to highlight some of my personal favorites.

Bruce (Tobi) Soundboard – Bruce Tobi from Family Guy is featured on this soundboard of 36 different audio tones. Hold in any of the tones to save for use as a ringtone or notification. My personal favorite tone is “Oh No!”

Old Man Herbert Soundboard – Old Man Herbert, from The Family Guy, is the star of this soundboard. Currently, there are 24 different audio tones. Press any tone and hold to save to your device. I also get a laugh from “Guess Who” and “Hey there muscly arms.”

Peter Griffin Soundboard - Peter Griffin, another favorite character from Family Guy, is another fun soundboard. You get categorized audio tones, which include Funny, Insults, Q&A and Other. There’s a total of 48 audio tones you can save by pressing and holding each tone.

Quagmire Soundboard – Quagmire is probably my favorite character on Family Guy. This soundboard has 30 sound bytes. The audio tones are excellent, but currently there isn’t any options to save them and use them as ringtones.

Stewie Griffin Soundboard – Stewie is the evil baby genius of Family Guy. Many of his quotes are quite memorable. This app gives you 30 of those quotes that you can click and save to use as a ringtone or notification.

Ron Burgundy Soundboard – From the film Anchorman, Ron Burgundy was played by Will Ferrel. This soundboard provides 21 different tones and a few more options. Press and hold a tone and choose to set the sound as Ringtone, Notification or Save as Alarm. One of my favorites has to be “Spanish.”

Old School V3 SoundBoard – My favorite comedy of all-time, Oldschool, brings us this soundboard with 17 different tones. Click each tone to listen. To save, click the tone, then press the menu button and choose to Set as or download. I love so many of these tones, but “I like you but you’re crazy,” when Frank the Tank gets hit by a tranquilizer is one of my favorites.

Step Brothers – This soundboard features another Will Ferrel character in the movie Step Brothers. This movie featured some of the funniest quotes in recent memory. Dale and Brennon each have 36 tones for you to choose from. Hold in the tone and set the sound as Ringtone, Notification or Alarm.

Three Stooges – When I was a kid, I watched the Three Stooges religiously. It’s great to have all these tones on my Android. You get a total of 48 different sound bytes. Press a tone and Save it to your device.
