The Market is growing at a rapid pace. But, which apps are the best and who has time to figure it out?
Today, I wanted to highlight the 5 most downloaded Android Travel Apps of all-time. All apps below are free of charge and can come in handy for your daily life or upcoming road trips. All apps below can be found in the Android Market.

4. Wikitude (FREE) 4.25 Stars, 4k ratings
Wikitude World Browser is an augmented reality display app that displays real-time information. The navigation consists of worlds, which displays sources you can choose to use such as Wikipedia, Foursquare, YouTube, City Search, Google Local and many more. View the list of cities nearby, view the world through your camera, search for points of interest and bookmark along the way.

3. WHERE (FREE) 4.5 Stars, 30k ratings
Where is a local directory that helps you find detailed information on stuff like the best eateries, cheapest gas, current weather, movies and so much more in a 15 mile radius. Find a restaurant, get their phone number, view the menu, see the current reviews or write your own. Click the traffic button to see the current incidents and construction closest to you. And there is so much more to WHERE, which is one of my favorite Android Apps.

2. GPS Status (FREE) 4.5 Stars, 10k ratings
GPS Status displays your GPS and sensor data so you can check out your position and see the signal strength of satellites. You can track your speed, accuracy, acceleration and bearing. While on the go, another useful feature can be to mark your current location so you can return, i.e. where you park your car.
