2011 is approaching and we’ve been busy working on a new and exciting site, set to launch tonight, moments after the ball drops. I’ve partnered with Jared from MediaIN5.com to launch this project we’ve been working hard to perfect. This will not effect my work here at FiveFreeApps, as you can expect the same quality content you’ve grown to enjoy. Here’s our press release below:
Attention social butterflies! You love Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Stumble Upon and all the other amazing social media sites that help keep tabs on all your friends in a digital kinda way. Well, we love them too! However, there is one problem. Our networks are littered with Debbie Downers, TMI Tims, Crop Farming Christies, Follow Me Fayes, All Caps Andys, Belieber Britneys and other annoying folks you’re probably thinking about right now.
With UnfollowMe.Net, you have a new platform to read and share those hilarious, annoying and downright ridiculous Tweets, status updates, messages, videos and more. While we enjoy funny messages with the intent to be funny, our favorites are those unsuspecting unintentionally funny ones. “You had to be there” will be a phrase of the past as you’ll be able to capture and share those memorable moments by sending them our way.
The beta version of this interactive social search project launches 1.1.11. Expect daily updates that feature an entertaining commentary, blend of images and videos captured from all your favorite sites.
Our goal is to entertain, rather than to embarrass or poke fun at other users. We focus on only the best content, rather than users. For the protection of individual user’s privacy, we blur the names and private information from each image used.
Launching UnfollowMe Beta is just the beginning. Stay tuned as we’ll continually add new features to UnfollowMe, including an interactive community. We’ll eventually transition to a full blown web app, deploying mobile apps on all your favorite platforms.
So, what are you waiting for? Visit UnfollowMe.Net and prepare to be entertained! Join our community and keep tabs on the latest by following us on Twitter @theunfollowme, visiting us on Facebook and subscribing to our RSS.
