I wanted to squeeze in this week’s 10 Favorite Bookmarks posting. This is a weekly series that I use as a platform to share my favorite bookmarks I’ve recently discovered. The list below is in no particular order. Enjoy!

1. Blogger SEO (Techknowl.com) – Some excellent tips on how to integrate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) into your Blogger blog.

2. A Journey Through Yahoo Answer’s Finest (yepyep.gibbs12.com) – Some hilarious questions and answers published on Yahoo Answers. You won’t believe some of them. This is an older entry, but it’s the first I saw it and wanted to share.

3. 45 Blog Post Ideas That Always Generate Buzz (thefuturebuzz.com) – Tips to attract more readers to your content.

4. The Missing Google Analytics Manual (grokdotcom.com) – I’ve already learned quite a bit from this in depth and must have resource. I highly recommend reading this if you use Google Analytics to track your visitors and traffic.

5. 25 Sites to Find Good Free Vector Files (freelancefolder.com) – I’m always looking for vector files to help spice up my blog posts. This is a solid list of places to find vectors.

6. Scary-Ass Job-Loss Chart Comparing Previous & Current Recession (boingboing.com) – This is scary. Take a look how jobless rates compare to previous recessions.

7. Tech Tools for Teachers (superteachertools.com) – Some very good tools to help you in any teaching environment. I like Classroom Jeopardy.

8. Test Your Blog (seobythesea) – 15 excellent tools to test your blog in so many different ways. I love this list!

9. Artists, Bands & Musicians on Twitter (spreadsheets.google.com) – If you use Twitter and are a fan of music, this is an extensive listing of all the musician’s profiles on Twitter.

10. Quantcast - You probably have heard of Google Page Rank and Alexa Rankings, but did you know about Quantcast? Quantcast ranks you, gives you in-depth traffic information and some informative projections.

2. 20+ Great Adobe AIR Apps for Photos & Videos (mashable.com) – Love these tools.

3. Grooveshark (listen.grooveshark.com) – Music search engine, but with a cool feature, that allows you to create playlists and embed it with their widget.

4. The Onion’s 2001 Predictions about Bush – This is an article The Onion published Jan 17th, 2001 and it’s kind of creepy how accurate it is.

5. 144 Do-Follow Forums by Niche and Page Rank – If you’re into Search Engine Optimization (SEO), this article will help give you some forums in your niche to help with link-building.

6. 81 Useful Affiliate Marketing Resources (blogtrepreneur.com) – Tools for keywords, affiliate marketing, domain hosting, ad rotators and more.

7. Twitter Grader (twitter.grader.com) – Find your or any twitter user’s ranking & get a badge.

8. Blogger Toolbox: 100+ Tools and Themes (mashable.com) – Free & premium blogger template sites, template customization tips & other blogger tools.

9. Lifehacker’s Guide to Catching the Inauguration Anywhere (lifehacker.com) – Don’t miss this historic inauguration with this list of sites at your desk, on your phone or on social networking sites.

10. Top 10 Ways to Save Money in a Recession (lifehacker.com) – A very nice listing of tips that can help us all save money in these not so easy times.

2. LetMeGoogleThatForYou – This is an extremely fun and sarcastic site to use when ever someone asks you a question that can simply be googled. It works well too. Be sure to try it, it’s fun.
3. 10 Most Innovative Concert Visuals of 08 – Accent Feed gives us some very cool concert visuals used during performances.
4. Long URL Please - This tool will convert short URLs to the actual URLs. Excellent for sites like Twitter that shortens all URLs.
5. 10+ Web Tools to Save Your Butt in School – MakeUseOf provides this excellent listing of tools.
6. How to Embed Almost Anything on Your Website - This is an awesome resource to have.
7. Felonspy – Find out the felons in your neighborhood.
8. iPod eBook Creator - Let’s you convert files into books for your iPod.
9. 2009 Web Predictions – ReadWriteWeb provides some very interesting things to ponder.
10. Top 20 iPhone Apps for Bloggers, Designers & Freelancers - I love the way Noupe presents this listing with the screenshots.

4. Ping directories after each post – This will ensure each catch your newest entries.

5. Get a Technorati Account & Submit your Blog – Technorati is kind of like Google for Blogs. Learn more about Technorati.

6. Add “Related Posts” & “Popular Posts” – To get more page views & offer more content to the reader, you can add a “Related Posts” section below your article with your links. You can also add a Popular Posts section on your site to give easy access to your best or most popular work.

7. Don’t copy & paste entire articles – This can really upset an author who may have spent hours or days to complete the post. Instead, you’ll find yourself more trustworthy by simply posting a small sample or excerpt & linking to the actual article to give credit.

8. Use Social Networking & Bookmarking Sites – Digg, Stumbled Upon, Reddit, Propeller , Delicious, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, LinkedIn & many other sites can bring traffic to your site. To open networking with others, add a social networking badge to your site.

9. Add Badges to Your Site – Make it easier for readers to submit or bookmark your content. Here are a few buttons & tools.

10. Get Involved – Rather than just submitted articles, you’ll most likely fail if you don’t also involve yourself in the communities of Digg, Stumbled Upon, etc. Find other sites in your niche as well and take the time to comment. Many blogs who you support by getting involved will support you as well. You can also further network with sites like LinkedIn.

11. Add RSS Feeds to Your Site – RSS offers your readers additional ways to read your content. I use Feedburner Pro & it’s tools to enable my readers to get my content by e-mail or their choosing. 12. Use effective keyword tags - Using effective tags will help your site appear when others perform keyword searches in Google, Yahoo, etc.
Google AdWords Keyword Tool – This tool will give you some effective keyword ideas to use

13. Promote your Blog – Add your link, widget or RSS Feed (as appropriate) to your e-mail & message board signature blocks and RSS or widget to social networking sites. Just insure you follow message board policies & don’t do this in a spammy way. If you can use your link or logo in your signature block, it can bring you more hits.

14. Add Alexa Toolbar – If you are into Alexa Rankings, add an Alexa Toolbar & read more information Alexa Overview & Utilities.
