style="text-align: justify;">While Chitika Premium is an outstanding way to make additional revenue from your search engine traffic, I began tinkering with my AdSense Ads. My idea was to create an AdSense version of the 500 x 250 Chitika Premium Ad. Currently, the closest AdSense Ad you can use is 336 X 280. However, AdSense does give you the 250 X 250 Ads. My plan was to create two 250 x 250 Ads, side-by-side to give me the 500 X 250 Ad with AdSense.

I found an easy solution at Digital Point Forums, so I have to credit ARCHKRE. Here’s how to display two AdSense Ads side-by-side to make an AdSense 500 x 250 Mega Unit, similar to the Chitika Premium Mega Unit.

Create 2 AdSense 250 X 250 units.

It’s extremely helpful to add channels to your Ads. It helps you better track your AdSense performance. I titled them “250×250-blended-topfloatleft” and “250×250-blended-topfloatright”

Here’s the code you’ll need:

adsense code 1

adsense code 2

Simply replace the red text with each AdSense Code

Since you’re technically working with two Ads, you can combine two completely different sized Ads, make one text only and the other image only, etc. Here’s how mine looks.

I just implemented this method, so haven’t been able to determine the results yet. Have you tried to combine two AdSense Ads? Do you use Chitika? Let me know what you think.

Chitika Premium, a very cool free advertising service that displays an ad unit of targeted results to your search engine traffic. Chitika plays very well with AdSense, giving you the ability to either make Chitika collapsable to your non-search engine traffic or to alternate with your AdSense Ads. I’ve began displaying the Chitika Premium 500 X 250 Mega Ad unit, which has already increased my click through ratio (CTR). It’s also brought value to my readers, since they are finding other great sites based on their keywords.

Chitika Ads are only displayed when a visitor arrives from a search engine. Here’s how it works. Let’s say Jim Bean is looking for some free movie sites. Jim visits Google and types “Free Movie Sites” into the Search Engine. He, of course, decides to click on the Eazy Cheezy link. <img

Jim now has some outstanding alternatives, that will return additional revenue to .

<a
