Today’s post/rant is to share my frustrations with the Magazine Apps for the iPad. Prior to me purchasing my iPad, one of the justifications I had for this purchase was to replace the magazines I love with the digital editions the iPad would provide. I planned to increase my magazine subscriptions and find new magazines, but have now just purchased and tried the PC Magazine App, which just reinforces my disgust for the iPad Magazine Apps.
Those new to the device may be a bit surprised at the expensive pricetag they’ll find on these apps. After dropping $499 to $800 plus on the device, another $30 to $40 for the iPad case and keyboard, you’re not done spending your hard earned dough. There are countless useful and valuable free apps available, but which are worth purchasing?
It’s now been one week since the iPad arrived at my doorstep. I’ve tried countless free apps, paid for more than I should have and have found some apps that have pushed my iPad experience to the next level. In this post, I share my 5 favorites.
